There were so many cool and easy-to-wear looks on the fall/winter runways for 2017, giving men plenty of options to really style it up for the season. There’s really no excuse for looking drab when going out. Put a little effort in your effort and walk like you own the damn place. It’s simple.
This entire look because sometimes, especially these days, I just want to be a Jedi with a light saber and fight for peace and love in this world. Plus, it looks comfortable as fuck …and warm… and cool. Olivier Rousteing has really built Balmain into an incredible don’t-give-a-shit brand and I’m loving every bit of it, especially in a time when the overlords try to restrict our freedom.
Yes, another Balmain look, but it’s all about the jacket here. The beading, the camo, the over-the-topness of it all. Dressing up in this jacket to a holiday dinner party or a night out on the town, is sure to shut the place down. It’s an immediate win.
William Los (the model pictured) worked the hell out of that Versace suit on the runway. Look at him, the suave mofo, making the whole thing effortless, like he isn’t walking around in a aubergine-colored suit. But now I want it, the whole suit, with the turtle neck, and the necklace. The cut, the fit, the styling, 100% on point!
Raf Simons is killing it at Calvin Klein. No one else can make yellow, patent leather boots look this good. But look at this camel coat and the way it’s sitting on the shoulders and the length, it’s like Blade Runner in 2017. This is what you call smooth elegance people, get with it.
The jacquard on these pants make it look like a comic book cutout. In fact, I keep imagining that this is what a very cool, very stylish, character would look like in a comic video game. Marvel should get on this. The black on gray checkered coat is versatile and multi-functional, as either daywear over the pants or as evening wear, worn over a suit. Either way you decide to wear it, it will stand out because it’s just so damn cool!
